EXIITUITION RECORD. [by TELEGRAPH— PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. | DUNEDIN, April 28. There was a surging crowd of many thousands outside Ihe Exhibition gates at three o’clock this afternoon, when tho three millionth visitor passed inwards, and was conducted to the offices, where I he President, .Ah- ,1. Sutherland Ross, presented her wih a chorine of £2o. The winner was Airs E. C. .Mitchell, of 182, AlacAmlrew Road, Dunedin. This is the first of the three prizes for the millionth, second millionth, and third millionth visitor respectively wfj.ich has been won by a resident of the Exliibiion City. All three have been won by women. Tho first went to Invercargill, and the second to Timaru.
AH Arthur Barnett, one of the Exlibitiou Directors, has offered a prize >f twenty pounds for the three million >ne hundred thousandth visitor.
