Gregory and Everett arc much faster on mf.itting than they were on the soft turf last week, but neither attempted extreme pace. Mailey, Macartney and Richardson made tin 1 ball turn a lot. but all were apt to pitch short. Gregory went in for big bitting. Taylor displnyed bis usual sound methods. but Everett's pace got through bis defence occasionally.
