Italian operations against the tribesmen at Cyrenaica, in Italian Somaliland, were attended by successful results, the Italian casualties being few, and that- of the reliels heavy. Two columns operating in Cyrenaica. after a five hour march in territory south of .Tebeliakkdar, reached Abid where they routed the rebels after a bayonet charge. The rebels later reinobiiised and were reinforced, but were agpin routed. Six colonial troops were killed and twenty-eight were wounded. The rebels bad 150 killed.
Italian progress north of Italian Somaliland in Nognl territory, led to the submission of the Oinarmahimid tribe. Operations were carried out with naval support. It is semi-officinllv stated the Italian losses were insignificant, and that of the reliels heavy. Italians projiose to occupy the whole of Nag a I territory as far as the frontiers of Abyssinia and British Somaliland, with the object of eradicating anarchy, which is stated to be rampant throughout- the country.
