WEDDING BELLS
At St. Patrick’s Church, Kuniara, on Tuesday, April 6, the wedding was celebrated between Aliss Muriel Rockford, eldest daughter of Mr and Airs James .Rochford (Kumara), and Air James Robinson, eldest son of ALArthur Robinson, of Te Kinga. Rev. Father Finnerty was the officiating priest, the “ Wedding Alarch ” being played by Aliases Alulvihill and Lawlor. The bride wore a frock of heliotrope georgette and veil to match, with wreath of orange blossoms, and silver shoes and stockings. Tho bridesmaid, AUss Cecily Rochford, sister of the bride, wore apricot .georgette with Juliet cap to match and silver wreath and shoes. Air Michael Robinson, brother of the bridegroom, acted as bestmnn. After the ceremony, about sixty guests were entertained at a wedding breakfast at the home of the bride’s parents. The hridegrooom’s present to the bride was a beautiful fox fur, and to bridesmaid, a wristlet watch. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a travelling rug. Air and Airs Robinson left by car to catch the express at Otira en route to Dunedin and Wellington, the bride travelling in a frock of grey repp, with hat to match. .
