[dY TELEGRAPH —PER PIIESB ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, April 22. The largest week-day attendance at the Exhibition for a long time past was registered yesterday, when the total reached twenty-five thousand six hundred and eighty-seven. This total, which included six hundred children, who came by special train from Lawrence; brought the grand attendance up to 2.824.967. The concert last night in tbe Festival Hall in aid of the Argyll and Sutherland Band resulted in what was claimed to be a new theatrical record for the Dominion, having regard to the prices of admission, which varied from ten to two shillings.. The ball holds about two thousand five hundred, and it was booked out in advance. The house was worth nearly £BOO.

Seventeen thousand excursionists, including seven hundred Tetnuka Oddfellows to-day, are coming by special trains during the next eight days. On ■Saturday there are eight special trains coming, including a Christehucli excursion which will bring six thousand three hundred and fifty day-trippers. DUNEDIN, April 22.

Last evening’s benefit concert, tendered by the Exhibition directors to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders realised .6702. providing a gift of over £2O to each of the 39 players. DUNEDIN, April 23.

This morning the grand attendance at the Exhibition stood at 2,847,707. A special tram is bringing 950 excursionists from Waikaka branch dairy factories to-day. To-lilorrow eight special trains are coming with 6,350 day trippers and during the last six days of the exhibition next week over 10.009 excursionists have been arranged for.
