The “Daily Express” states that a great step towards peace is expected to-day when the mine owners meet Mr Baldwin. It is understood that as the result of powerful persuasion. during the week-end. the mine owners will not insist on the district instead of national wage agreement. This removes flic deadlock. Air Baldwin will probably immediately summon the millers to consider this important coitees-
