Tho circumstances pointed to a carefully organised attack on Fascists, of whom four were killed and eleven wounded. Clerc and Beradon were arrested, when holding revolvers. The strangest freak of fashion even for Paris, was the appearance of two actresses at Longcliamps racecourse together, with a poodle dyed horizon blue to match the colour scheme of their frocks.
