ROSE V. NURMI. [by TELEGRArn— rER PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 WELLINGTON, April 16. A cable has been received by Mr Tflacey, of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, from Mr Rubein. of the America Amateur Athletic Association, that Nurmi is not to compete at the American National Championships to be held at Philadelphia during the centennial exposition on July oth., but adding that it was hope that Rose would compete. Mr Tracey said that (Rose would go straight to England, and compete at Stamford Bridge on. July 2nd. and 3rd. _ /*
