A Fairbanks message states: Thu final flight nWth from here, and the dash into the Polii!* regions of the Arctic air expedition of Captain Wilkins will soon be made. The engines of the expedition’s three motor planes have been tested and found to be in good condition, The metal propellers have been replaced by wooden ones, so as to make damage to the planes less probable in the case of an accident. The planes are now practically in living condition. The expedition’s one-eiigined machine is fuelled and tuned up. and is ready to take the air.
