THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.

The weather was line and mild and a magnificent programme ol gorgeous pyrotechnic novelties was got oil without a bitch. A Tally thousands of spoliators loudly applauded the brilliant and beautiful effects produced in coloured lire. The attendance for the day mounted in 27,417. bringing the grand total up to 2.085.332. Tlie railway authorities are receiving nuinv applications lor excursion trains. A mile of them, comprising six trains, is coming oil Saturday, one each lroiu Christchurch. Milton to Allanton, Palmerston and Winton Trade Unions. Kdendalc dairy factories and Invercargill trade unions. The Prime Minister will perform the closing /eorrjiiiony on Saturday, May Ist. A special train will leave Christchurch at 11 p.m. mi April 30th and (here will also he excursions from Oainarti, Palmerston, Balelutlia and I nvercargill.
