A well-known resident of South Beach, Grey mouth, in the person of Mi- Thomas AVaLsli, passed away on Saturday, at the ripe age of 95 years. Deceased was a native of County Clare. Ireland. He leaves a widow and four sons (Mr Jame 3 AValsh, of Auckland, Thomas residing at Greymouth; Patrick, and Richard of Lake Coleridge); also three daughters, (Mrs Keenan, of Tauranga, Airs Coumbe, Alarilmrough St., and Mrs Burley, of Shakespeare St., Greymouth). Deceased was one of the oldest gold miners on the. West Coast, and was a member of the original Leviathan party, taken over bv the Leviathan Co. He had resided at South Beach for 60 years.
