The Federal Court at the commencement of the hearing of the Australian Workers’ Union ease against the Pastornlists’ Union, protested against the appearance of William Allen, the Secretary of the Graziers’ Association of N.S.W. as the representative of a number inf the respondents, On the grounds that Mr Allen is not a respondent himself. Mr Justice Powers stated that if the objection is upheld, the ease must he adjourned for three months in order to allow the 2000 respondents to appear before the Court. The ease was then adjourned till Monday to allow the Australian Workers’ Union to discuss the position.
