ARAMURA EAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: We lield our usual fortnightly sale at the above yards yesterday, our entry consisting of 20 sheep and lambs, and ofi head of fat cattle. Apparently tbo date selected, in lieu of the ordinary sale day, which fell on Easter -Monday. did not at all suit butchers, as the attendance was very small, and as a consequence competition was dull anil a fair proportion of the yarding failed to reach, vendors’ reserves, and were passed in. Good ox and 'heifer beef realised from 30s to 32s (id per hundred, whilst good cow hoof sold from 20s to 255. M’o sold as follows: —On account, of Thos. Yesterday's fixture at the above arils contained an entry of 15 fat imlis. 12 fat ewes and 17 bead of eale. There was a poor attendance of
buyers, no doubt owing to the holidays interfering with the normal date. Competition was slow throughout the sale, with the result that some pens were passed, not reaching vendor’s
