But, on tile other hand, where is the girl who does not assume tlio role of shrinking violet and let her husban-to-be believe that he is getting the prize of prizes when lie weds her I* In my latest picture. “Tomorrow’s Love,” the girl in the story is “sold” on the idea that she is getting the world's champion husband—only to learn, after marriage, that he is only human. “Over-selling” before marriage is one of the big Causes of so many divorces, HeeaU'c it points nut some of the stumbling blocks of wedded happiness, I hope that ; prospective hridse and grooms, anil everyone for that, matter, will carry home some thoughts that may prove useful in their daily lives. I read not long ago an article by someone who had an idea that a woman could get along nicely with pots and pans, and wear very fetching attire anti keep her hands and face looking as if she had jus! come out of a beauty parlor. Who ever wrote that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. 1 say “lie.” because 1 am sure only a man could have written such sin article, friend, husband comes home from a busy day at the cilice expecting his wife to look like a chorus girl alter cooking a square meal and mending a lot el clothes. lie grumbles that he didn’t marry the “other woman.” and she retaliates with, she wishes he. did.
