THE DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.

[BY TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. | DUNEDIN, March 30. The nineteenth week of the exhibition closed last night with the grand attendance at 2,327. Ml. As the Exhibition has been open on one hundred and thirteen days, excluding Christmas Day. when it was closed, this is equal to the wonderful daily average of 20,597.

Yesterday’s attendance included this week’s school party which consists of 700 children and a dulls from schools of Invercargill and Half Moon Bay, Stewart island. Mr 11. J. Munson. New Zealand Trade Commissioner at Melbourne and an overseas commissioner of the Exhibition, was entertained by the directors last night. Replying to iiis toast Mr Manson said that ho felt honoured in being associated in any way with the Exhibition, which 17ad not been equalled in the history of New Zealand and even in Australia. It had eclipsed anything that had been attempted on the other side. “It is ever so much greater than I had anticipated.” Mr Miason said. “Everything has been done in the finest possible way. The Exhibits are good and there is a thorough completeness that one doesn’t often see. The quality and excellence of the products - are such that they need have no iear of serious competition.”
