The public of Hokitika to-night will have a unique entertainment offered them when the noted phychologist will give a demonstration of his powers, and will illustrate a .subject in which the whole world is now keenly interested. In a lecture AI. Emile Cone, admitted that auto-suggestion was a terrible instrument, but when properly applied gave good results. He gave experiences which displayed the truth of the two principles upon which he built his theory and method of autosuggestion. The first principle was that every idea that wo had in our mind, whether good or bad, had a tendency to heroine a reality, and it. became a reality, it was also a possibility. The first quality of man was imagination, and not will. There was always a conflict between the two, and it was imagination which won every time. "We wanted to do a certain thing, and yet we did the contrary. Professor C. A. 1 >'A Imaiiie's experiments in auto-sug-gestion and hypnotism will create a. good deal of interest in Hokitika, as he carries no professional subjects. All subjects will he taken from the audience and caused to obey the will of the hypnotist, thus providing an entertainment which. although very scientific, will cause fun and laughter. Professor D’Almaine is supported bv a vaudeville programme which should delight young and old. The juices are uit bin reach of all and the Princess Theatre should be packed to-night and to-morrow when he appear*. EVERYBODYS PICTURES.

At the Princess Theatre to-morrow night Evervh'dygs Pictures are showing a. very fine Fox picture, entitled “Tn Love Willi Love.” The cast is headed by Marguerite de la Alotte, Allan Forrest anti Will Walling, and is tt. drama of heart interest. A good supporting programme will also be shown, including a Fox comedy and Gazette. On Thursday Dickens’ great masterpiece. “David Copper (Solti” will he shown and on Friday “The Painted Flapper.”
