PRIEST AND CIRCUS.

BOULOGNE, Jan. 26. Oil the coast near Dunkirk yesterday a fishing smack belonging to" a poor man, which had been stranded high and dry in an awkward position, was re floated by the joint efforts of the parish priest, the Abbe Provost-, and tho entire staff of a travelling circus. The traction engilie which hauls the circus around the country was brought on to the shore and, with all hands helping, the smack was dragged to the low water mark after seven hours’ toil. Tho Abbe then swam out to a tug taking a towing-line with him and the smack was refloated successfully.
