Mr civic was in great form, and seemed to make comparatively light work of what most people thought would he a very difficult task. Jlis time for the lirsl distance was 64 2-ssec.se, while he covered lho second half mile in (15 1-5 secs’, ifordcr did not appear to he feeling at his best.
