The harrier failed to rise, with the result that only the placed horses got away. Courtly Rose remained at the post, while Mantua, followed some thirty lengths behind. Weston Trot-.—Tennessee's Child I. Imperial Logan 2, His Majesty 3. Won hv lour lengths; two lengths. Time 3.37.

The Rangitikei R.C. annual meeting was hold in good weather, the attendanve being largo, and the truck good. The tote took £1(1,689. a decrease of £1554 on the corresponding day of last Wilson, the rider of Vannia in the Hurdles, had his leg broken and was taken to the hospital.
