(Is 0.1 cl to Is 6RI per lh); other qualities (salted), 158 s to 104 s per ewt. (Is 4-R1 to Is opt per lh) ; other qualities (unsalted) 156 s to 162 s per ewt. (Is 4Jd to Is s’d per lh). Argentine—Unsalted. 150 sto 100 s per ewt. (Is -I’d to Is s<! per lh) ; other qualities, 140 s to 154 s per ewt. (Is 3d to Is 4ld per 10). Danish—(Slow) 193* to HRs per ewt. New Zealand—Coloured, 98s to 995, up to IOQs per ewt (IO.Ui to 103 d per lb) ; white, 90s to 9Ss per ewt (10fd to 10L! per lh). Australian—Coloured. 90s to 97s per ewt HO'd to IOAd per lb). Shipments ol New Zealand produce arrived this week per s.s. Hertford and Alainioa. HEMP. Tho Manila, market continues dull and barely steady, witli Imvors of “J” grade No. 2, Alarcli-Al.ay shipment, at £4l 10s. lint- 110 sellers. Sisal is easy. Sellers quote No 1 Tanganyika. AfurehAla.v shipment, at £43 10s. Tin* New Zealand market is dull and easier. Fair grade Afarch-Alay shipments sold at £35. Stocks in London on February 28 were 30 toils, against 53 tons at tile same time last vear. WOOL. Competition at. the sales was brisk with a firm tone. Fine merino and fine cross-bred are 5 per cent dearer. Other descriptions fully maintained opening rates.
