SIR LAMES PARR
BLENHEIM. March 23. Sir James Parr anived at Blenheim last- night and was tendered a civic reception hv a fully representative gathering, which took tile form of a farewell to the High Commissioner elect. The Mayor tendered the hearty congratulations and good wishes of Marlborough people, and faith that Sir Parr would bring credit on himself and the country in his new office lie had lieen called to. Sir J. Pan-, in reply, said ho had no illusions as to his new job. The tiling that gave him great courage in undertaking tho great duty, was the faith his friends had in him. that he would not fall. Tl>.? proceedings were marked with groat enthusiasm.
