Despite the reverses England played up spiritedly and Yoyee scored an unconverted try. The half time scores were Scotland 14, England 3. England attacked and Tucker secured an unconverted try. Tho Englishmen then pressed continuously for a quarter of an hour and then followed a good dribbling rush by the Scottish forwards when Smith secured an unconverted try for Scotland. With a few minutes left England made desperate efforts and Stanbury went over for England, this try being unconverted, the Scotchmen winning a great game bv 17 to 9. LONDON, Alarch 21. It is noteworthy that the only others to defeat, England at Twickenham were the Springboks and All Blacks. LONDON, Alarch 21. At Wrexham the weather was fine and four thousand were present for the amateur soccer game when England beat Wales by 2 to 1.
