HEN’S COLOUR CHANGE.

LONDON, Jan. 26. A story of a hen apparently changing colour to match her companions has been told by Mr A. M. Gilpin, of the Eoval Dublin Society, Balls’ Bridge, Dublin. About a year ago. he states, a black hen joined a flock of white hens of her own accord. Her owner could not he found and she refused to leave the other hens, although repeated-attempts were made to get- her to do so. "Within the last few months,” Mr Gilpin adds, “this hen has become almost white. Is this a common occurrence? 1 have never seen such a case before.”
