Cabinet has decided to instruct \ oshizawa 'to demand a lorinal apology for the Taku incident, punishment of the guilty Chinese and indemnification for the wounded. The Government spokesman said it did nut matter whether China accepts responsibility. Japan does not intend to resort to force, hut if no agreement is reached might take the question to the World Court. He emphasised tho friendly, peaceable residts which wens Japan's main aim.

The ear left Qumci’s garage the following morning. Quilici discovered the car damaged, tho upholstery cut, and a window broken, with a pair of journalist’s scissors lying inside the car. lie was dissatisfied with Filipelli’s explanation so retired from the paper. The Fascist Counsel, Farmarci, formally disclaimed any connection between the Fascist l’art.v and Filipelli.
