WELLINGTON, March 18. Regarding tit? visit to tli'e Dominion of the Australian .Sooc.gr team, the New Zealand Foot hall Association disfitecd thh <jucstiOn to-night. Mr Hyder said that when on a visit to Sydney, lie had interviewed various officials connected with the game in Australia. and had been told that Australia recognised that they had received enough visiting teams, and it was time they travelled. There was no difficulty in arranging a team to make the tour, hut the only matter likely to cause isagreement was the allowance requested of ten shillings ]>er day per player for the time and wages lost. It was decided to invite an Australian team of seventeen players and a manager to tour New Zealand, the tour to last- for a minimum of six weeks, and the team to lea to Australia on Juno I7th.
