SENTENCE FOR THEFT.
WELLINGTON, -March 17. For theft of £49 11s 7d, the Chief Justice sentenced Jas. Henry A. Redder to eighteen months and for theft from a dwelling he sentenced Eugeno C. D. P. .McCarthy, aged 18, to threo < years’ reformative treatment, while for 1 forging and uttering he granted Edward Sutherland two years’ probation. COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS. DUNEDIN, March 17.
