RAILWAY BOARD
VISIT TO DISTRICT. DEPUTATIONS RECK IV ED. The Stationmaster (Mr Craw) at Hokitika received advice this morning that the .Railway Hoard was paying a visit to the district on Tttosdav next, and that the Board was prepared to receive deputations. The particulars arc as follow:—Messrs J. Jones (Chairman*, .). Mason and A. W. Alouat. members of tlu* Railway Board, will arrive in Greymouih, via Blackball, about J. 39 p.m. on .Saturday the 20th -March. The Board is accompanied hv Messrs R. O. Kent (Divisional Superintendent for tlie South island). G. A. Lynde (Chief Mechanical Engineer). W. R. Davidson (Acting Chief Engineer), L. J. Wynn (Signal Engineer). G. H. AVilkinson (Loco Engineer), H. Chapman (District Traffic Alanager), J. AJeXair (District Engineer), J. Pawson (business agent) and Air Duckworth (private secretary).
The party will leave Greyniouth fur Rapnhoe and Rewanui on Afonday morning, returning to Greyniouth at 11.30 a in.
The Board leaves Greyniouth for Ross on Tuesday morning, tlience to Inangnhua and Westport the same day. The Board is prepared to receive deputations.
