[Australia <fe N.Z. Cable Association.] RAI LAY AY CATASTROPHE. NEARLY 200 KILLED. NEW YORK, March 15. A Boston telegram states that confirmation of the wreck of an excursion train between Alphuella and Cartage in Costa Rica, in which there were 178 persons killed, and seventy-five injured on Sunday, has been received by the agents of the United Fruit Company. the owners of the line. Three f- ars plunged down a fiftvfoot embankment, and the train was thereby carried over the precipice with about one thousand passengers on board.
