[Australia it N.Z. Cable Association.] NEW YORK. March 12. At Palm Beach, Richards won the singles tennis championship of Florida on Friday, defeating Haraga 4—6, 6_l. 6—i, 6-3. Tn the final of the State tennis championships men’s singles, Patterson beat Schlesivinger B—6. 6—3, 6—2. In the Doubles Hawkes and Charwood Heat Me!ones and Fitcliet-t 6—4, 4—6, 5 6—2. 6—l. In the women’s doubles Airs Harper and Miss Boyd beat Miss Melvor and Miss Stephens 6 B—C. MELBOURNE, March 13. The Victorian tennis championships ill the mixed doubles final resulted:— Se.hlesinger and Miss Boyd defeated Mclnnes and Mrs Harper 9-7, 1-6, 6-3.
