BOXING.
[by TELEGRAPH— BEK PRESS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, March 11. Scott, the New Zealand boxer made a disappointing showing against A’and.vk, the referee intervening in the eighth round to save him from further punishment. The Dutchman had tho upper hand throughout, piling up points with right leads and left hooks to the head and body. Scott was downed in the first and in the fitth rounds. He fought back grimly in tho sixth, but he was tiring rapily. In the eighth he was downed again with a right to the jaw. The referee then stopped the fight. Scott was not in his best form. Ho had a severe time in reducing weight. Ho made a good showing in the opeiv ing rounds.
