The stat ionniastor, Mr l raw. t estoi day afternoon received the lollowiug from the district Traffic .Manager. Mill. Chapman with regard to the excursion to the Dunedin Exhibition from the Wist Coast mi March 17th:- —“ Hie Dunedin Exhibition Committee, would like to know the probable number coming to Dunedin from West Coast on irTli inst. As the train arrives at Dunedin late at night they will do all possible to provide accommodation and may send someone to Palmerston to meet the train and ascertain requirements. Please advise number booked so I’a.r.”
