DUNEDIN REGATTA. DUNEDIN, March G. The New Zealand Rowing Association Championships to-day unfortunately had to he postponed owing to choppy seas. The time to start was 12.:U>. Tlie Committee postponed tiic events from hour to hour until four o’clock, when two races were run oil ns follows: Maiden Four-oared race, one mile. Avon 1, A warm. 2. Port Chalmers 3. Maiden Double Sculls.—Queen s Drive (Dunedin) 1, Avon 2. It is intended to row the remaining races at six o’clock on Monday mornDUNEDIN. March 8. The postponed regatta was rowed this morning under ideal conditions, resulting in splendid performance by the Otago lour, defeating the <‘iac* Hamilton four. Results : - Championship Single Sculls, 15 miles Stew.mson (Waitemata) 1. J. AY St. Clair (Hamilton) 2: K. O. 4 rail (Wanganui) 3. Won by lour lengths, third throe lengths away. Tune 9.49. Knur-oared Championship. 2 miles Otago (Brough. Werges, MeAra and Anderson) I ; Hamilton (Sands. Bavlv. S t. Clair and Curtis) 2: Wairau (Giblams. Saunders, Adams and Badinan' ;> Otago led throughout. When challenged "Hamilton increased the lead from one to two lengths, half a length separating 2nd. and 3rd. Time 12.13.
