A motion was curried congratulating the Minister of in;omul Alfeirs mi his refusal in grant ret ngnition io a separate boxing association j u Christchurch, a, the conference was firmly of opinion that separate control of professional and amateur boxing would not be in tin* interests of amateur boxing but would be latal to it.
