ON VICTORIA PARK. TROTTING CLUB’S NEW STAND. PRACTICALLY DESTROYED. Word was received this afternoon I hat thi' Greymouth Trotting Club’s line new lerro concrete grand stand on \ iitorm Park was practically destroyed by n lire that was discovered about I o'clock ibis afternoon. The structure was a new one, only being used fur a iiiuple of meetings, and the plastering had not, been completed. The strut tun cost a very substantial figure and "ill mean a big loss to the Club. The new grandstand of the Greynuuilli Trotting Club at Victoria Park is now burning fiercely. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. The stand is a mass of flames and it- total destruction is inevitable.
