HAMILTON'. Feh. 23. At the opening of the Supreme Court to-day. .Justice Stringer commented on the absence of eases involving dishonesty. Imt said that, unfortunately. there were sever a I sexual cases. A most unusual man Roy Charles Dorn was charged with attempted murder. The Judge said that if it were true, as alleged, that Dorn gave the girl poison, as lie no longer loved her. it was a most mean and contemptible thing to do. True hills were returned in all eases. The trial of Rosa May Cattenach, on a charge of driving a service car near Rotorua in a negligent manner t b-?rebv causing the death of t/wo Maoris is proceeding. It is alleged that the accused overcrowded her ear. and that, in looking around to see if a vomit on the running board was all right. Icr attention was taken off the road, the ear consequently falling over a. hank.
