Christchurch, was artist i oally decorated with white flowers for the wedding of Dorothy -May. oldest daughter of Aft* and Airs Cockroft, anti William Frederick. eldest son of Air and Airs E. P. Her wedding iruivii was of ivory brocaded •satin, slightly draped on one side, and held with a pearl ornament, the long light sleeves being pointed ;it the wrist. Her prettily embroidered veil was arranged from a coronet of pearls and fell in long graceful folds to the Item of her gown. Her bouquet was of white flowers. Aliss Eileen Cockrnft itttended her sister as bridesmaid, wearing :t most attractive frock of delicate shell pink satin, veiled with cream lace and finished with a large how of the material, centred with a buckle of rhinestones. Her black hat was made of line lace, underlined with pink and trimmed with small French llowers. Site carried a bouquet- of shaded pinkflowers. Air Cedric Heinz attended his brother as best- mail. Rev. S. J. Hutchings performed the ceremony, and Air Claude Williams presided at the organ. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Dixieland, where the guests were received by Mrs Coekroft. who wore a smartly tailored cos- j tunic of silver grey rep. and a navy i and white hat. Site carried a Itouquet j of deep pink roses. Airs Heinz, mother , of the bridegroom, wore a frock of mole < marocain made on straight lines and j a hat to match, with shaded ribbon j trimming. AVlten the In ide and bride- i groom left for their wedding tour, the bride travelled in a distinctive frock of cinnamon brown marocain, with Oriental trimmings, and hat en suite.
