m\YlU>l.\. Fol). IS. Tlio American athletes, Lloyd Hahn ami Ja'kxon Schultz. arrived in Dimedin from Ashburton this afternoon. They were mei at the hail wav Station by the .Mayor (Mr Tapley), who extended a welcome to the visitors, and expressed the hope that athletics in New Zealand would benefit from their visit. To-night the athletes were entertained at the Inhibition as the truest' of the Directors. To-morrow afternoon they will giv 0 a demonstration of training and running before the school children. They will compete at the Otago Club’s athletic meeting on Saturday afternoon, ami in the evening will bo th e guests of the Otago Provincial Court at the Exhibition.
