ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. COAST LAMBS SELL WELL.

Matson and Co., report as follows regaiding tlioir stock salo at Addington yards yesterday : -- Store .Sheep.—The largest yarding of store sheep this season and it emuprised a large, proportion of lambs. The balance of the yarding was mostly North Island ewes. Wethers were not much in evidence. The sale right through must he considered a good one although at the beginning lambs were hardly as linn as last week, bill as the sale progressed they improved considerably. Ewes also were firmer show-

ing a good advance on last week. Not many wethers were offering and what were in were mostly two-toot It liullbreds. A shipment of Chatham Islands sheep arrived yesterday, hut most of these were hold over. Rost rape lambs made 20s to 225, medium. 17s (id to lOs (id, others down to 1. Is. four-tooth Romney crossbred ewes to ills Id. Ii- and 8-tooth to 275. S.M. 20s. to 275. others 17s to 18s fnl. old ami inferior Ks to Ids. two-tnotli 25s (id to 295. Store Cattle. -A small yarding and the same old tale of practically all old cows and hulls and nondescript lots and no quotable difference in tlte market. Reef.—A very large yarding comprising over 1500 head which was mainly made up of cows. There were several nice lines of station steers which were firm at last week's rates, but towards the end of the sale, when the majority of the old cows were offered prices slackened perceptibly, but considering the large yarding the sale

was good and showed little difference to hist week. Lambs.— A fair entry, which included some very excellent quality.
