Alilton SiUs and Viola Dana are together again! Tfie two picture stars, who have played together on ninny occasions in the past, have the leading roles in “As Alan Desires,” a highly romantic, colourful story of the Orient and the. South Seas, which opens tonight at the Princess Theatre. The two are hilled as the co-featuring players in this First National picture, and are to be supported by an unusually strong cast, including Until Clifford, Rosemary Theby, Tom Kennedy, Paul Nicholson. T.ou Payne, -Hector Sarno, Anna Alay Walthall, Edneh Altemns, and Frank Leiglit, In “As Alan Desires” Sills, famed as “The Sea Hawk,” enacts the part of a British Army officer who, accused of murder, flees to Tahiti, and becomes the notorious captain of a pearl fishing vessel. AFiss Dana’s role is that of a. vivacious, liewitching native dancing girl, whoso sacrificial love for Sills is the powerful motive around which the thrilling plot revolves. The picture is one of action from start to finish. It was directed hy Irving Cummings under the supervision of F.arl Hudson. The billowing am the supports to-night, Gaumont Graphic.
