DUNEDIN, Feb. 12. The new Marlborough Court at the Exhibition is a wonderful improvement op the open stand by which, at first, the province was represented. Above the front entrance a golden sun is ris- ! ing and in hold lettering appears the title “Marlborougn the Golden.” The golden motif is carried right through the colouring scheme of the walls, the canopied ceiling and the general internal decorations. Two line deer heads think the front entrance, facing which is a big arch formed of huge lower jawbones of a right whale. ’The side entrance of the aieli is thatched with sheaves of Marlborough oats and Hankoil with heads ot wild goats. A big hoar's head graces another part of the walls. The exhibits of cereals, wool, slieep skins, hemp, butter, cheese, ivinc and other products of the fertile province have been artistically rearranged in the new court and the walls display a fine selection of oil paintings and photographs, some of the hitter being beautifully coloured, especially those of pastoral and agricultural scenes anil scenic, and also the sporting attractions of Marlborough.
