Investigation based on the figures of bacteriological tests supplied by the Director of Milk Supplies, shows that more than ball of Melliourne’s milk, or more than two-thirds according to the standards adopted in New York, is unfit for human consumption. The milk supplied to the metropolitan hospitals falls very far short of fulfilling the conditions which expert medical opinion deems necessary. FIRES STILL RAGING. . SYDNEY, February 7.
