A telegram from San Pedro, California, states: The clipper ship ‘lndiana,” with a motion picture company of fifty persons, is in distress at sea in the Catalina Channel, before a strong wind. The ship is an old one, without power other than her sails, but it is believed she is seaworthy. The stars aboard include Seona Owen. Later reports state it is learned that Scene Owen, the screen star is not aboard tho vessel that is in distress. QUEEN TURNS SCENARIST. NEW YORK, Fob. 3. A telegram from Culver City, California, says: “Queen Mario of Rouniania is to turn a scenarist for the motion pictures here. It is announced that the Royal authoress has signed i contract to write original stories for immediately screen production.
