The. Supreme Court sessions opened to-day before Mr Justice- Reed. Addressing the Grand .Jury, His Honor said the calendar was short. four charges of dishonesty and one. of a sexual nature. The shortness of the calendar was further evidence of the very gratifying fact that, the wave ol clime which recently passed over the Dominion. was now recccding. The caretaker said he noticed a, door had been opened and the place ransacked. and the trophies removed. One of the glasses covering the trophies was marked with fingerprints. On examination ol the prints, the export, Air Minnie, found they tallied with those of Fleetwood, whose liugorprints had been taken some time before, when he had been convicted uf being a stowaway. It was found thill. Fleetwood had. been a close companion of Bryant, u termer stew aid of the club. Both were arrested. Br.vnnt admitted his guilt. The trophies have been recovered from the liarhour. The expert’s evidence was that the prints were those of Fleetwood. Bryant denied Fleetwood was concerned in the theft. The cum? is unfinished. AFCKLAND CASES. AUCKLAND, Feb. 2.

The Grand Jury returned no hills ill the eases of Uonahl George Frankham. tu-vd -J7. charged with manslaughter, arising out of a motor accident: Phillip Michael Sullivan, aged 19, trimmer on the Tonic, charged with manslaughter, and "Walter Joseph Tickers, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. The prisoners were accordingly discharged.
