BIG GAME HUNTER ARRIVES AUCKLAND. Feb. 1

Air T. R. Hubhack. the noted Malay game hunter, arrived hy the Aorangi .from London, via New York. He will spend about three months in New Zealand and will tisli at Russel and hunt in tho South Island. Air Hubhack hopes to enter the wapiti country and supply Dr Nelson, the head of the biological survey in the United States, with information regarding wapiti in this country.

The most serious cases are 1 R Crawshaw. aged 49. a fractured arm. and B. -Merritt, aged 27, broken legPRODIGAL, SON RETURNS. AUCKLAND Feh. 1. Vincent Stanley Burchall. aged ?0, charged with being a stowaway oh the Aorangi from Vancouver, is a Wnnniii boy. who worked liix way to America some 'months ago, having about .C 139. of which he was robbed in San Francisco. He was detained in tho States and Canada, and was ordered to lie deported. Burehall got his liberty in Canada and stowed away on the Aorangi. Two days out he gave, himself up to the captain and behaved excellently on the voyage. A remand was asked for to let accused communicate with his parents in AYanganiii. Air Boynton S.M.: 11 is a case of the prodigal son returning. Perhaps his parents will now kill the fatted calf and nay his boat fare. He was muanded until Feb. Bth.
