NEED OF FOREIGN AIIBSIONARIES LONDON, January 29. An appeal for 430 new men and woman missionaries was made at the final sitting of the Convention of the Missionary Council of the Church Assembly. Rev Jonks (Assistant Secretary of the Missionary Council) said that Africa needed 120 men and 80 women, India 71, mostly men; and China C>9 men and ‘lB women in tlie existing missions and institutions.
