The Reichstag, by 100 votes to 110 votes, adopted a vote of confidence in the Government. Eleven members abstained from, voting.

The Reichstag decision was preceded by a heated debate in which the Nationalist, Herr Honnig attacked the IjDcnrnn Pact. Ho declared the present Cabinet consisted of traitors, who were the hangmen of the German people. When Hennig left the Tribune, Dr Luther, shaking with rage.- went out to intercept him with raised fists. Dr Luther shouted: “ 1 forbid you to utter such slanders.” Members surged forward as an ex'ohnnge of blows seemed imminent. After prolonged uproar the F’rosi•dent, at the House’s rerpiest. excluded Hennig for the remainder of the sitting.
