FOOD AND CANCER.
DANISH DOCTOR’S INQUIRIES. LONDON, November 28. Dr M. Ilindhede, of Copenhagen, an authority on dietetics, concludes from his investigations of cancer that the disease has some connection with overfeeding. In the “Acta Medica Scandinavia” (quoted bv the “British Medical Journal ”) he *savs that the death rate from cancer is higher in Denmark than in any other countries and is incieasing rapidly. A cancer specialist said to a reporter that we need not he troubled with regard to our food until some more convincing evidence is produced. Many vegeterian animals, such as cows and horses, suffer from cancer.
