JEFFRIES AND CO’S REPORT

At yesterday’s fortnightly fixture field at Araliura 69 head of fat eat tie were submitted to competition. The quality of the entries ranged irom fair to good and as at the previous fixture competition was quite satisfactory for all prime -pens. Ox beef made Irom 40s to 46s per hundred, cow and heifer beef eased somewhat in price ami ranged from 32s (is to 37s Od per hundred. Al. HOUSTON AND CO’S REPORT. .Messrs AL Houston and Co report:— At the above sale yesterday our entry consisted of 50 fat cattle, which were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. The competition was good for all finished lines, prices realised being on a par with those of last sale.
