The Berlin correspondent of the “ Times ” says; AA’ith the new Government scarcely in the saddle, speculation is already rife regarding its prospects. which are not regarded optimistically in any quarter. The Nationalists consider it merely a veiled form of coalition, which they, throughout, have uncompromisingly opposed. The press of all parties points that the Government has no solid basis. The tendency, however, is to await events before anticipating the death of the Parliamentary system, of which the recent struggles arc declared to he symptoms.

Secondly, sterilization would produce a serious social evil, especially through the victimisation of detective women and girls. The doctors conclude that .segregation is the only remedy that will .safeguard Loth defectives ami the community.
