WELLINGTON. Jan. 18. To-day (hero arrived here by ihe Alakura a parly of twenty wealth' American sightseers and their families. Thcv are under the guidance of Mr J. L. Wheeler, jun., of Pacific Tours, Ltd. This organisation eaters for X’ew Zealand only, and though the Pacific Islands arc included in the tour, it is New Zealand which these kindly, welloiidowed folk have come to see, and where they will spend a month in a thorough examination of i-'ymie ot the ..conic resorts of both islands. The party consists of Mr 0. F. Bolden (paint manufacturer) and Mrs Hchlcn, of San Francisco; Mr C. 31. liarrohl (stockman) and Miss Bolden, of Stockton. California; Mr ft. M. llawlev (investment hanker) and Airs llawlev. of San Diego, Calitornia : Ah' F. J. Hill (magazine writer) and Airs Hill, of Pasadena, California; Miss K. D. Hubbard, of Denver, Colorado; Air E. A. Keiselliorst (radio apparatus manufacturer) and Mrs Keiselliorst, ot St. Louis; Mr and Airs IT. 11. Aladsen. of San Jose, California: Airs. A. \. .Montgomery, of Oakland. California; Air O. W.’ Hit-hard (orange culiurist and oil proprietor), ol A is,alia, California; Air and Airs Streßtz (relatives of the well-known Alelhourne family), iJ - Chicago, Illinois. The party is under the personal cemduetorship of Mr Wheeler, hut on this occasion it will also he accompanied hv the manager of the New Zealand Tourist bureau (Air J. W. Clarke), who is anxious that (his party, the third that has come under the management of Paeilic lours Ud., should hud the comfort it seeks in the Dominion’s liostelries.
